Tom Brown, M.D.
Gastroenterology Associates of Ocala (GAO) is pleased to announce the partnership of Dr. Tom Brown, effective September 1, 2017. Since joining GAO in September of 2012, Dr. Brown used his expertise to develop a gastroenterology hospital service in all three of the Ocala area hospitals.
Dr. Brown, has turned his focus to treating office based patients and will provide services in our surgery center (Ocala Endoscopy ASC) in addition to maintaining his privileges in the hospitals.
Dr. Brown is board certified in Gastroenterology.
Dr. Brown completed his Gastroenterology training (fellowship) at Case Western Reserve in Cleveland, Ohio, and his internal medicine training (residency) with Summa Health system in Akron Ohio. Dr. Brown developed an expertise and interest in liver diseases and completed an extra year of training (Hepatology fellowship) at the University of Miami School of Medicine. He is a graduate of the West Virginia University School of Medicine.
